MM Hunters vs BM Hunters

I've made a short video of a 2v2 Arena battle. It was very interesting to see 2 MM Hunters vs 2 BM Hunters, but I can say that it's was an easy win for us. The combined Chimera shot DMG is just too big burs. As you will see one of them couldn't even start his rotation properly.

I must say that this is a LOW RATING Arena, so it was normal for them to have bag game plan, but I think that even in higher rating the MM team would still win :)

Beast Mastery PVP Talent Build in WOW Legion

I know that it's still a bit early because WOW legion is still in alpha, but I think I should make a PVP Talent Build Posts already.

I'm a big fan of the new PVP system and the big variety of talents and builds that we will be able to use in the next expansion.

In this post I will share with you what for me is the best PVP Talent Build for a Beast Mastery Hunter (the best build for the next expansion). We still have a lot of time intil the release of the expansion, this build may not be the final one.My build is in the picture below the comments about each talent choice.

Tier 1 talents:
From the first tier of Talents I will always choose the Gladiator's medallion talent, because the other two talents are passive and therefore the control of their effects won't depend on the skill of the Hunter.


Gladiator's Medallion

Removes all movement impairing effects and all effects which cause
loss of control of your character while in PVP combat.

Replaces Honorable Medallion.

Adaptation

All full loss of control effects with duration of 5 seconds or more activate
your Honorable medallion spell but only incurs half of it's cooldown.

Relentless

Duration Of incoming crown control effects reduced by 25%.

Replaces Honorable Medallion.

Tier 2 talents:
I;m not sure between Mind Quickness and Initiation, but I think that I prefer the increased critical in the start of the fight, so I think that Initiation is the best choice here.

Train of Thought

Damage increased by 15%. Being attacked will cancel this effect for 8sec.

Mind Quickness

Increases haste by 15%.

Initiation

Critical chance increased by 30% on targets at or above 80% health.

Tier 3 talents:
For a Beast Mastery Hunter the Survival Tactics talent is without questioning the best choice. Feign Death will practically make us immune for 1,5 secs.

Dragonscale Armor

Magical periodic damage effects deal 20% less damage on you.


Catlike Reflexes

Critical melee strikes grant you 30% dodge for 4 sec.

Survival Tactics

Feign Death removes all harmful magical effects, and reduces damage taken
by 100% for 1,50 sec.

Tier 4 talents:
I think that Viper Sting ,Scorpid Sting and Spider Sting can be very useful in different situations, but I would choose Spider Sting, because I will use it more in Battlegrounds and outdoor PVP.

Viper Sting 

Your Cobra shot stings the target, reducing their healing done by 30% for
12 sec. Viper Sting is removed if the target casts a mom-instant cast healing spell.

Scorpid sting 

Your Cobra shot stings the target, reducing their physical critical strike chance
by 50% for 6 sec.

Spider Sting

Stings the target with potent spider venom, causing their next offensive spell cast
to silence the target for 5 sec. Lasts for 8 sec.

Tier 5 talents:
Wild Protector is a talent which gives a damage reduction to everyone within 5 yards by 15%. So if your Dire Beast is on your target and the target is attacking you in a melee range, you will receive 15% less damage. The Sharpened Claws talent is a good damage boost, but in the general case I would choose the Wild protector talent.

Thick Hide

Crowd-control effects have a 75% reduced duration on your Dire Beasts.


Sharpened Claws

Each attack from your Dire Beast deeply claws at the target, causing the
target to bleed for(20% of Attack power) physical damage over 4 sec.
This effect can stack up to 3 times.

Wild Protector

Your Dire Beast protect allies within 5 yards, reducing damage taken by 15%.

Tier 6 talents:
Well here we will have to choose between heavy damage, area damage and knock back. The Dire Beast: Gorilla will be very useful for keeping enemies at good distance, also the knock back effect can be used for mass interrupt, so I think that this will be my choice. I will rank the Basilisk talent on second place, because I think that it will be a very good damage boost, but I'm not sure how hard it will be for the enemies to avoid it, because in the description it says: "slow moving basilisk".

Dire Beast: Basilisk
2 min cooldown

Summons a slow moving basilisk near the target for 30 sec that attacks the
target for heavy damage.

Dire Beast: Hawk
30 sec cooldown

Summons a hawk to circle the target area, attacking all targets
within 10 yards over the next 10 sec.

Dire Beast: Gorilla
1 min cooldown

Summons a powerful gorilla to charge into battle, knocking back all enemies
in it's path.

How to beat an Enhancement Shaman in Arena

Yesterday I've made few very nice arenas and now I will share one of them with you. In the past I had very big problems with enhancement shamans, but as you will see in the video ...times change....

In few words in you want to have a chance against enhancement shamans ( as a hunter), you need to:

1. Kite perfectly;
2. kill the fire elemental totem ASAP;
3. time your deterrence with his bursts;

You will see in the video below, that I had like half of my HP and the Shaman was at full HP. I'm also a BM Hunter at the moment, which is the Hunter spec with the lowest DPS at the moment.

I really like the new PVP gameplay, but for now I don't have time for some serious gearing. At this point you probably all know that the best Hunter spec in WOD is MM. I'm planning to make a video  on the spec topic, but now I want to share with you some thing very useful.

WoW 90 MM Hunter PvP Guide from Brang

It's been a while since I've made a post here. The reasons are many and I don't want to bore you with them.

As you might know I'm very big fan of Zumio( the troll hunter master). I can say that I've learned most things that I know about PVP from him. I'm also very sad that he isn't playing anymore.

MM Hunter PVP - Patch 5.4

I was watching PVP videos in Youtube and I found an awesome Hunter PVP video. I play BM hunter since Cataclysm, but after watching this video I might try few battlegrounds as a MM.

I think that the more difficult question is - Which is the best pet for playing PVP as a MM Hunter ?

I'm betting on a spider or crab....Tell me your choice !

Hunter DPS: Hunter Arena Nerfs, the HPP, Kheldul and Me

In 5.4.2 Hunters will not be able to dismiss their pets while in arenas.  This is typically done just before a hunter pet is about to die.  It's also done a fair amount in extreme hunter solo'ng.  But in the arena world, it is evidently unfair to dismiss and summon a new pet.

I haven't arena'd at all in MoP, so I can't comment on how overpowered dismiss pet was... but I would have thought that perhaps the long cast time would be enough.  But hey, hunters are top of the charts, right?  No? Oh.

In other news, we're rebuilding our guild raiding group.  We did the first four five bosses on heroic this evening, so that's not too bad.  Especially with a lot of Flex gear in the group.  I got a whole bunch of drops tonight bringing me up to around a 570 item level....Read more.

New Video: Feral Druid/BM Hunter in 2v2 Arena (HD)

After very long time, I've finally made new WOW video. It is an Arena 2v2 battle. Me and Arweenn against Frost mage and Arms warrior. The video is not very long and there is much more that I can do about the quality. I'm very new to Sony Vegas Pro and I'm still learning. The problem here was the arena. As you know the arena in Dalaran is very dark and this is a problem when you want to make a video.

For me the most interesting parts of the fight are the Deep freeze on my pet and the way I managed to escape from the Ring of frost.

A narrow victory..

Today I was making the Temple of Kotmogu battleground. It was very tense fight ,so I couldn't tell are we going to win....

At the last minute the Horde were slightly ahead ,but we managed to kill their orb carriers and this was the result....

Last night I became Vengefully Dedicated

We are getting better at arena fights and last night I even made an achievement - Vengefully Dedicated. Tonight I will probably get the Conquest bow and things might get out of control :D but we will see.

I will make some new video ,but I can't promise that they are going to be unique...I'm still not that great fighter.

The interesting thing from last night was that we managed to kill many DPS/Healer teams...before that was very rare thing. I think that the reason is the better synchrony between us. We also make better target switch now.

Those are the interesting things for now :P

Hunting for Blood coins

Today I've started my hunt for Blood coins,but it is harder than I thought... My server is Hellfire and it's not a PVP one ,so many people are not interested in attacking one strange looking red hunter ..LOL. For 20 minute of provoking I got only one attack from a Paladin and I've managed to kill him ,but that was it.

My goal will be getting 50 Blood Coins and then I will buy Fire-Watcher's Oath. After this I think that it will easier for me to get the mount and the companion, but I'm not sure how much time will I need for that.

I love the way I look with the debuff and especially when on my chopper. I will share a picture below. So this is for now about my Blood coins hunting... Keep hunting !

Patch 5.3-Arena 2v2 - Hunter/Rogue vs Warrior/Hunter

What do you think about the new Tier 16 for hunters ?

Few day after the releasing of the new tier 16 PVE sets ...most of the hunters are very confused. The reason is the look of our new PVE set. Most of my friend hunters told me that they are praing and hoping that this won't be the final look of the set.I don't know what you think ,but for me this is the worst hunter set for all times...There is just nothing that reminds of a hunter in it. I think that Blizz really need to change it ,because 99% of the hunters are going to change the look of the set..

On the other hand the PVP set looks awesome ,so maybe this compensate a little bit. Soon we will se what is going to happen.

Useful PVP Hunter trick vs Warlocks in arena games

After nearly 150 arena games for 3 days I can tell that I'm getting up in good shape. I've learned few very useful things from those matches and I even made a video about one of those things.

Probably most of the good PVP Hunters already use it ,but anyway I would like to share it with you all. I hope that it will be useful for all hunters playing against warlocks.

Today I played my first battleground for the past two months.The results were quite interesting...I need honor for 2 more items and then it will be arena time.I am thinking about making PVP videos ,but I'm not very sure ,because I'm still not that good.
