Hunter macros - Patch 6.0.3

Well to be a good WOW players we all need useful macros. For us Hunters ..there are quite a lot macros that we can use and some of them are essential. It's about time for me to make a post about Hunter macros.

In this first post, I will share some of the basic Hunter macros for the latest patch - 6.0.3.

General Hunter Macros:

Deterrence Cancelaura Macro

/cancelaura Deterrence

 Misdirection Mouseover/Focus Macro

Startattack Macros

Neither Glaive Toss Icon Glaive Toss nor Dire Beast Icon Dire Beast cause your character to start attacking the target when cast, so you should use the following macros to force this to happen.

Petattack Macros

It is a good idea to include a command to force your pet to switch to your current important target. This is particularly relevant with Dire Beast Icon Dire Beast and Stampede Icon Stampede, since you generally cast these abilities on targets you intend to attack for at least a moderate amount of time (justifying the time it takes your pet to run to the target).

Roar of Sacrifice

Hold alt modifier to have your pet use Roar of Sacrifice on mouseover target OR use it with no modifier to cast it on your targets target.

Disengage

/use 15

Stops whatever you’re casting and Disengages. The /use 15 is for your Parachute, if you have one. Just take the line out if you don’t use engineering.

  Feign Death

Stops all casting followed by a Feign Death. Works MUCH better than if you did it manually.

  Tranquilizing Shot

/cast Tranquilizing Shot

This will stop you from casting immediately followed by a Tranq Shot on your current target. If you don’t have a target, it will be casts on the closest target. Works wonders when I’m Pvping.

WOD Hunter Talent changes

There are few changes in the Hutner talents that I've wanted to share with you in case you didn't see them until now. In general Blizz are buffing us a lot, so the news are very,very good.

Hunter Talent Changes:
Talents
Barrage: Tooltip updated so that the numbers ingame reflect the impact of Versatility. 

Exhilaration: Now heals you and your pet for 30% of max health, up from 22%. // This will be very good buff to our survivability

Glaive Toss: Each glaive now does 52% AP as damage, up from 41.5%. // As I'm using Glaive Toss for PVP ( mostly arenas) I think that this buff will make Glaive toss a must spell against melee foes

Powershot: Now deals 840% weapon damage to the target, up from 520%. Also deals 420% weapon damage to enemies between you and the target, up from 260%. // I think that Blizz are returning the original damage of Powershot and I think that this will be my choise for battlegrounds from now on

Stampede: Now lasts for 40 seconds, up from 20 seconds. //Great for Incresing your burst damage for both PVP and PVE. At this moment I'm using A murder of crows, but I'll have to check my damage with 20more seconds Stampeding.
